Premium, purchases and billing

I bought Premium. Why does the app still show Free, display ads, or ask me to pay?

First check that the purchase appears in the purchase history of the Apple, Google or Microsoft account that paid for it.

  1. On the device where you made the purchase, use that same store account.
  2. Sign in to your IPTV Expert account.
  3. Open the Premium screen and select Restore purchases.
  4. After restoration finishes, reopen the app and check its Premium status.

If restoration fails or Premium is still missing, use Copy information if the error offers it and contact support with your receipt and app version. Ask support to check the existing purchase before buying again. Apple also explains how purchase restoration works.

Can I use my Premium purchase on another device or platform?

Premium can follow your IPTV Expert account across supported Expert apps when the purchase is linked to that account. Start on the device where Premium already works: sign in to your Expert account, then restore the purchase using the original store account. Sign in with the same Expert account email on the other device.

Your Expert account and your Apple, Google or Microsoft account serve different purposes. Using the same email address in two stores does not itself transfer a purchase.

Older paid editions and previous store listings may need support assistance. If the second device still shows Free, send support the receipt and the app versions on both devices before purchasing again.

What if my old Android or Windows purchase will not restore, or Windows says the trial is over?

Check which app and store listing appear on the original receipt. Older Android listings and separate paid Windows editions can differ from the current app.

Use the official download page to identify the current version for your device. On the original purchase device, check the purchasing store account, sign in to your Expert account, and try Restore purchases if your edition offers it.

If your old purchase is still not recognized, contact support with the original app name, receipt, store, Expert account email, and current app version. Support must check that purchase; an old activation key or the same store email alone may not activate a different edition. Keep the existing installation and source details while the purchase is checked.

Is my purchase lifetime or recurring, and why do I see different plans or an expiry date?

The receipt and the store's purchase details identify the product you bought. Check the plan name, whether renewal is enabled, and any renewal or expiry date. A one-time purchase may appear in purchase history rather than the recurring-subscriptions list.

The Premium screen shows the offers currently available for your store and account. Before confirming a different plan, read the store's effective date and renewal terms; do not assume a previous subscription has been canceled.

A provider's playlist expiry is separate from your app purchase. Lifetime Premium does not extend your provider subscription or add channels. If your receipt and the app's status disagree, send the receipt to support.

Link to this question
How do I cancel a subscription or stop a trial from renewing?

Manage renewal through the account that bills you:

  • Apple: on iPhone or iPad, open Settings > your name > Subscriptions, choose the subscription, and follow Apple's cancellation steps. Use that guide for Mac instructions too.
  • Google Play: open Subscriptions in Google Play with the purchasing Google account, select the subscription, and follow Google's cancellation steps.
  • Microsoft billing: check your purchasing Microsoft account and follow Microsoft's subscription guidance if the purchase has recurring billing.

Uninstalling the app or deleting your Expert account does not cancel store billing. A one-time purchase has no recurring renewal to cancel. For an IPTV provider subscription, contact the provider that charges you.

Link to this question
How do I request a refund or resolve a disputed charge?

Find the receipt first so you can identify who charged you and which account made the purchase.

Approval depends on the purchase and applicable store rules. Cancellation and a refund are separate actions. If a store reports a refund you do not recognize, send its transaction status and your receipt to support. Payments for channels or an IPTV service must be checked with that provider.

Accounts and source setup

Does Premium include channels, movies, series, or IPTV login details?

IPTV Expert is a media player. Premium unlocks app features; your content provider supplies the channels, films, series, playlist and access details.

If the setup screen asks for a server, username, password or playlist URL, obtain those details from your provider. Buying Premium does not create an IPTV service account. Questions about adding a title, renewing a playlist, available languages or the channel package belong to the provider supplying that content.

Link to this question
What is the difference between my Expert account, store account and provider login?

You may use three separate accounts:

  • IPTV Expert account: sign in with your email and the verification code sent to it. This identifies your Expert account for supported account features and linked Premium access.
  • Store account: your Apple, Google or Microsoft account owns the store purchase and manages its billing and restoration.
  • Provider login: the server details, playlist URL, or portal and MAC address used to load your content.

An Expert verification code belongs in the Expert sign-in screen. Enter the provider's credentials when adding a source. If you already have Premium on another device, use the same existing Expert account email there.

Link to this question
How do I add a playlist or provider connection?

Choose Add source, give the source a name, and select the connection type your provider supplied:

  • M3U/M3U8 Playlist: enter the playlist URL.
  • Xtream Codes: enter the server address, username and password.
  • Stalker Portal: enter the portal server and the MAC address registered with your provider.

Copy the complete address, including its http:// or https:// prefix and any port number. Keep provider credentials exactly as supplied. If you only have a local playlist file, ask your provider for a supported URL or contact support about the import options on your device.

Link to this question
My Expert verification code has not arrived or does not work. What should I do?

Check the email address entered in the sign-in screen, including spelling, then check that mailbox's spam or junk folder. When the resend option becomes available, request a new code and enter the code from that new email.

If the app rejects the email before sending a code, or you still cannot sign in, update the app and contact support with the exact error, affected device and app version. A TV keyboard that will not enter the code, a grey screen or a sign-in crash also needs those details. Repeatedly creating or deleting accounts will not recover a store purchase.

Link to this question
My playlist will not load, or the provider login is rejected. What should I check?

Check your connection and compare the source type, server address, port and credentials with the details your provider gave you. Confirm that the provider account is active and that its server address has not changed. For a Stalker portal, check the registered MAC address with the provider.

If possible, test the same source in another player. Record whether importing the list fails or the list loads but playback fails; these are different symptoms. If the same source loads elsewhere but fails in Expert, send support the exact error and app version for investigation.

Playlists and synchronization

How do I refresh a playlist, and what if refreshing gets stuck?

Select the correct source, then use its refresh action in the source list or open Playlist settings and choose Refresh now. This requests the current catalog from the provider. Refreshing the programme guide is a separate action in EPG settings.

If refreshing fails, check the source details, internet connection and provider account. A list that still plays on another device may be an older cached list, so also test a fresh refresh there. If Expert repeatedly returns to the refresh screen or never completes, contact support with the error, device, app version and comparison results.

Link to this question
Why are channels, films, series or episodes missing?

Select the intended source and section, refresh the playlist, and clear any search, category or favorites filter. Check whether the item or its category is hidden.

If it still does not appear, ask the provider whether it is included in your account and in that source's catalog. Premium does not add titles or language versions to the provider's catalog.

When the same item appears with the same provider account in another player but is missing in Expert, contact support with the item name, source type, device, app version and comparison. Missing an entire Series section after an update also needs investigation.

Link to this question
What syncs between devices, and why do my playlists or favorites differ?

Use the same Expert account on compatible, updated apps. With Premium active, supported account synchronization can restore sources, favorites, recent activity, playback progress, and saved or hidden groups and items.

After a source appears on another device, select it and let that device load or refresh its catalog. Downloaded video files stay on the device that downloaded them. Device-specific player, theme and guide settings are not all shared.

If favorites or a source are missing, check the Expert account email and Premium status on both devices. If they match and the data still differs, contact support with both app versions. Keep the existing source and installation while the issue is checked.

Link to this question
Where can I see my provider subscription expiry or connection allowance?

For supported Xtream sources on versions that show Playlist details, open Playlist settings and look for Expiration, Max. simultaneous connections and Active connections. These fields depend on the details your provider returns. They may be absent or show Not provided, and the Apple TV menu may not display them.

If no expiry date appears, ask the provider to confirm it. That date describes the content service, separately from your Premium app purchase. The provider also controls how many streams you can open at the same time.

Playback and player controls

Why does a video say Content not available, keep retrying, or fail on one device?

Try a second item from the same source and note whether the problem affects Live TV, movies, series, or all three. Check whether that same item plays on another device or in another player using the same provider account.

Confirm that the provider account is active and close other streams if its simultaneous-connection allowance may have been reached. Where the option is available, try another player in Video Player Settings > Select Video Player.

If the item works elsewhere but still fails in Expert, send support the exact item, error, device, app version and player selected. A provider outage, stream compatibility problem and app regression require different investigations.

Link to this question
Why does playback freeze or buffer even with a fast internet connection?

A speed test alone does not check the stream server, local connection or the player's handling of that stream. Compare a few items, close other active streams, and test a stable connection such as Ethernet where available.

If your app offers Playback stability, try a stronger buffering preset. It may reduce interruptions while taking longer to start or resume. You can also try another available player.

If the problem happens only with a VPN or on one network, temporarily compare without that VPN or on another network to identify the difference. If it continues, report the affected items, network test results, player and app version to support.

Link to this question
How do I change the video player?

Open Video Player Settings > Select Video Player, if that option is available on your device, then choose another listed player and reopen the affected video.

Player choices vary by platform and app version. For example, the native Apple TV app offers different choices from the Android TV app. Use the players actually listed on your device; a player recommended for another platform may not appear.

Try the same item again and report whether video, audio, subtitles or seeking changed. Switching player is a useful test, but it may not resolve every failing stream.

Link to this question
Why is there no sound or no subtitle track, or why are subtitles out of sync?

Open the player controls and choose Audio or Subtitles, then select an available track. If no track is listed, that stream or selected player has not exposed one. Check whether the provider offers another version of the item with the required language.

Where the player offers subtitle size, style or delay controls, adjust them for that video. If tracks are missing or remain out of sync, try another available player and report the item, track language and timing difference to support.

External subtitle search and casting have their own availability and format limits. Premium does not guarantee a subtitle or audio language for every item.

Why can I not rewind live TV or use catch-up, and what if the backward button goes forward?

Seeking in a movie or episode is different from replaying a live channel. Live catch-up requires archive or replay information supplied by your provider for that channel and programme. Premium alone does not add a replay archive.

If a backward-skip button moves forward, or seeking fails in an on-demand video, try another available player and report the device, player, title and exact action. Include whether the problem began after an update. This behavior needs investigation; it is separate from a channel that has no catch-up service.

Why does Resume start from the beginning, or an episode jump straight to the next one?

For an unfinished movie or episode, choose Resume Playback when prompted, or Start from Beginning to restart. For shared watch progress, check that both devices use the same Expert account and that Premium is active. If you downloaded the video, open it from Downloads to play the local copy. Tell support whether Resume fails with that copy or the streamed video.

If one episode jumps to the end or shows the next-episode countdown immediately, test it from the beginning and with another available player. Check the binge-watching or next-episode option if your device offers it.

If Resume still starts at zero or episodes are skipped, send support the title, episode, expected position, device, app version and player. Keep your history and source in place while the issue is investigated.

Link to this question
What should I do if the app crashes, shows a blank screen, or stops working after an update?

Check for an available update in the official store or installation channel. If a store update is stuck in its queue, finish pending updates and restart the device, then reopen Expert.

Note the action that triggers the failure: opening the app, signing in, syncing, starting a channel, or downloading an episode. If it only happens while playing, try another available player.

If the failure continues, contact support with the device and operating-system version, app version, screenshot or short recording, and steps to reproduce it. Before removing a source, signing out, clearing app data or reinstalling, ask support how to preserve your local sources, favorites and downloads.

Casting to a TV

Why can I not find my Chromecast or AirPlay receiver?

Connect the sending device and the receiver to the same local network. On iPhone or iPad, allow IPTV Expert access to the Local Network in device settings. Open the cast button and select the receiver; enter the code shown on the TV if AirPlay requests one.

Casting availability varies by platform, app version and receiver. If the receiver is still missing, tell support its exact model, the sending device, app version and whether other apps can discover it.

Link to this question
Why does casting connect but show only sound, artwork, a black screen or Ready to cast?

Chromecast and AirPlay cannot play every video, audio or subtitle format. Compatibility depends on the specific receiver. A stream that plays in IPTV Expert on your phone or computer can still use a format that your TV receiver cannot decode.

IPTV Expert sends the source stream without converting it to another format. When the receiver cannot decode that format, the playback failure is a Chromecast or AirPlay compatibility limitation, not a fault in IPTV Expert.

Check whether the same item plays locally. If your provider offers another format or an HLS version, try that version. You can also try Expert installed directly on a supported Apple TV or Android TV device.

If you are unsure whether the format is supported, send support the receiver model, item, sender device, app version and whether audio or video starts. Include the result of any comparison with another app.

TV guide and programme times

Why is the TV guide blank? Does EPG work with M3U?

The electronic programme guide, or EPG, needs schedule data matching your source's channels. Open EPG settings, make sure it is Enabled, and choose Refresh now.

You can also enable automatic EPG refresh in EPG > Refresh frequency. Choose an interval, such as once a day, rather than leaving automatic refresh disabled, to keep the guide updated automatically.

Xtream sources use the provider's XMLTV guide. An M3U playlist may include a guide URL; you can also enter a custom XMLTV URL supplied by the provider. Stalker sources obtain guide information from the portal. The label "M3U Plus" alone does not establish that matching guide data is available.

If the guide stays empty, confirm the guide feed with the provider and report whether all channels or only some are affected. Refreshing the playlist and refreshing the guide are separate operations.

Link to this question
Why are programme times wrong?

Check the device's date, clock and time zone first. If every programme is shifted by the same amount, use EPG > Time shift where available and adjust the offset.

If only some channels are wrong, ask the provider to check those channels' schedule data. If the data is correct but Expert still shows the wrong time, send support the channel, programme, expected time, device time zone and a screenshot.

Downloads and recording

Can I download movies or episodes and watch them offline?

On devices where a Download action is available, download the movie or episode and wait for it to finish. Open the completed item from Downloads on that same device to play the local file.

Downloads are stored locally and are not copied to another device by account synchronization. Support varies by platform and source; a feature available on a phone or computer may not appear in a TV app. The provider's stream must also be accessible for the download to complete.

Link to this question
Why is a download queued, stuck, or failing?

Connect to Wi-Fi, check that the device has enough free storage, and confirm that the same item still plays from the source. Current download tasks require Wi-Fi. In Downloads, use the available Retry or Resume action for the affected item.

If it remains queued, stops at the same point or causes a crash, contact support with the item, device, app version, available storage and download status. Include whether a small download from the same source succeeds. Keep the source in place; removing it can remove associated local downloads.

Link to this question
Why is the Record button missing or my recording empty?

Live recording depends on the app, selected player, device and source. A Recordings section does not mean every player can record the current stream. Where Record is available, start it while the channel is playing, keep the session running, and press Stop before changing channels or leaving. Try another player that offers recording, if one is listed.

For a recording that produces a zero-byte file, first check free storage and whether the live stream plays reliably. Then report the source type, channel, selected player, device, app version and whether other channels record successfully. An empty recording or a recording-related crash needs investigation; repeatedly making the same recording may not resolve it.

Library organization and device settings

Where can I unhide content or reorder favorites on Apple TV?

In the native Apple TV app, open Menu, find Account & Playlist, and select Playlist.

  • To restore hidden content, open Hidden categories / videos, choose the categories or videos list, and select the item to unhide it.
  • To change favorite order, open Reorder Favorites and choose the Live TV, Series or Movies tab.

On other devices, look for the corresponding hidden-content or favorites options in Playlist settings. If favorites disappeared after an update or account change, first check the selected source and Expert account. Contact support if they are still missing.

Link to this question
How do I change the app language?

The interface follows the language settings available for the app on your device. Check the operating system's app-language or preferred-language settings, then reopen Expert after changing them.

The audio and subtitle language choices in Personalization or Customization affect playback tracks, separately from the interface language. If the interface still uses an unexpected language, contact support with your device, system language, expected language and app version.

Link to this question
Can I keep listening when I lock my iPhone or iPad?

On supported iOS versions of Expert, open Video Player Settings and enable Keep audio in background, then test the stream before locking the screen.

This option and background playback support can differ on other platforms and with the selected player. If the option is present but audio still stops, report the device, app version, player and whether the problem occurs with live TV, movies or episodes.

Installation and support

Where can I install Expert on Windows, Android, Fire TV or another device?

Choose your device on the official Expert download page. It links to the current stores and direct installation options. For Windows, download Expert from the Microsoft Store listing.

For Android TV, Google TV and Fire TV, use the television installation option shown on the official page. Choose the build intended for that device. Check the TV's operating system and match it to a platform on the download page; its brand alone does not identify the platform. Similar app names in search results may belong to other publishers.

Check the chosen store or download channel for its current operating-system requirements. If your TV platform is not listed, use a supported external TV device. If an old purchase is missing after installation, use the purchase-recovery steps above rather than buying again.

Link to this question
Why do features or menus differ between my phone, computer and TV?

Expert adapts its menus and playback tools to each platform. Player choices, casting, recording, offline downloads and background playback can differ by device and app version. A Premium feature also needs the relevant device, player and source support.

Check the controls available in the installed app and its current update notes. If a feature you need is missing, ask support about that specific platform before purchasing for it. For a feature request, include the device and describe the action you want to complete; support can assess it without a promised release date.

What should I include when contacting support?

Use the app's contact option when possible so the message includes its platform, app version, account ID and Premium status. You can also email iptv.expert.app@gmail.com.

Describe what you expected, what happened, and the exact steps to reproduce it. Include:

  • Device model, operating-system version and Expert app version.
  • Exact error text, screenshot or short screen recording.
  • Source type and whether the issue affects Live TV, movies, series, one item or everything.
  • Selected player and the result of trying the same item on another player, device or network.
  • For purchases: store, product name, receipt, Expert account email, and restoration result or Copy information output.

For a problem that started after an update, mention the last version that worked if you know it.
